One Million Minds is a work of art for the internet.
The art is the website and movie that you yourself take
part in. Your experience of One Million Minds can only
be found on the internet - this is part of the original
art, not a copy. |

| The
idea of One Million Minds is to create a series
of up to 1,000,000 individual and unique abstract
portraits or 'Mindscapes' in just 1000 days.
Anyone can participate and have their Mind
included in the finished series making them
part of contemporary art history. |
| You simply
answer the questions on the Add
Your Mind page and software written by
the artist, Tamor Kriwaczek, downloads and
interprets your answers and creates the Mindscape
itself. |
| A Mindscape
is an abstract image representing someones
mind, or thoughts, or ideas, an abstract 'Landscape
of the Mind'. In One Million Minds it represents
how the artists sees you through the answers
you have given at that time. |
| A Snapshot
is any single Mindscape - a 'Snapshot' of
your Mind. Multiple Snapshot can be created
for any reserve Mind Number. Just log in and
Add your Mind,
selecting your prefered Mind at the end of
the questions. Snapshots can also be transfered
between any Mind Numbers you hold. |
| By reserving
a Mind Number, you guarantee your place in
One Million Minds. All unreserved Minds may
be reserved by anyone, who may then replace
the selected Snapshot for that Mind with another.
Over 90% of the Mind Numbers are £1. |
| Anyone
can add their Mind for free (click
here to Add your Mind). The Mindscape
will be assigned to the lowest available standard
Mind Number and will remain the representation
for that Mind unless someone else reserves
it and replaces your Snapshot with one of
theirs. |

As any work of art tries to do, it offers you ideas and
imagery to make you think. By adding your mind and becoming
one of the million, you describe yourself while accompanying
the artist on his journey of thought and creation, and
receive as a result your original and unique image of
how you appear to him - your mindscape: your mind as seen
through the eyes of the artist.
One Million Minds is unique in existing in its original
form on the internet, as originally created digital mindscapes,
and in the physical world as prints and protomorphs. Straddling
these 3 different worlds, One Million Minds offers you
something you can't get anywhere else, is free, and you
can come back as many times as you like.
